A Photographic exhibition depicting the plight of street children in our society was held at Frere Hall, Karachi. 80 pictures of street children were being displayed. The exhibition was for three days and was visited by people from different walk of life.
A walk was organized on street children for highlighting the importance of this issue. It aimed to highlight the reality of the street children and demanded that the issue of street children must be recognized. The basic objective of the walk was to let the people know in what conditions the street children are on streets and what steps should be taken to make their lives more meaningful. Various representatives of NGOS, Students, Government officials, people from different walk of life participated in the Walk.
